"The Ontario Steam & Antique Preservers Association (OSAPA) aims to advance the knowledge, appreciation and interest in rural antiques and our agricultural heritage.  This is accomplished through the preservation, restoration ad renovation of articles, vehicles, machinery and power equipment of antiquity.

Steam-Era is the annual Labour Day Weekend exhibition presented by the Ontario Steam & Antique Preservers Association.  For the public’s education and enjoyment, our members exhibit and demonstrate their collections of equipment, models, cars and trucks, along with crafts, entertainment, vendors and other displays pertaining to our rural agricultural heritage."

.... the show is loud and dusty; wood smoke, burning kerosene; steam whistles; huge pieces of noisy, gear-grinding equipment ....

And I had the bestest time ever!!!!

(and how could you not love a steam powered, ice cream maker! 

 Darn good ice cream, too!)
