Art appreciation with the "Mad Retiree"!!!!

One last posting on Windsor .... the Sculpture Park.

The Windsor Sculpture Park is part of a chain of riverfront parks along the Detroit River stretching from the Ambassador Bridge to Church Street.  Total of 32 large-scale sculptures.  Best section of probably the best waterfront development I’ve seen.  Absolutely nothing like it in Toronto ….  Highlights of some of the pieces I found particularly interesting and/or amusing!!!!

"Cordella" - Maryon Kantaroff

"Claim Post" - Scott McKay

"Businessman on a Horse" - W. McEloheran

"Tohawah" - Anne Harris

"Flying Men" - Dame Elizabeth Frink
(this installation just a little creepy for my taste)

"Eve's Apple" - Edwina Sandys

"Penguins on a Waterfall" - Yolanda Vandergast

 "Dancing Bear" - Paula Saila
