Partial Solar Eclipse

The solar eclipse itself was awesome!  Even if the overall organization 

of the event by the Mississauga/Royal Astronomical Society left a 

little to be desired.  (They set up for about 1,000 people - by my 

count, between 4000 and 5000 people showed up!)

(parking lot was full by 11:30 a.m.)

(a little soft-shoe shuffle - and we both snagged a pair of viewing "goggles"!)

...eclipse at it's max - 70%

(I wasn't brave or confident enough that the viewing goggles

would provide sufficient protection in combination with my camera lens,
