I headed downtown on Friday for the Ryerson anniversary BBQ on
Gould Street - excellent nosh at all the tents, by the way! After everyone
had rolled themselves back to their offices, I popped into the Library and
checked out the Archives "Ryerson 70/25" display. If you've ever been on one
of my campus tours, or just wish you had been, go over and check things out!
Bond House/O'Keefe House
"Children's Literature Collection" - books written between late 19th century and
early 20th century. (There's a copy of the "House at Pooh Corner"!)
... bomb sight used for training at the No6 Initial Training Centre for
the Royal Canadian Air Force (July, 1941)
Normal School - demolished after completion of Kerr Hall
There really is an actual "lamp of learning"!
... one of the Oakham House pooches!
